Tattoo Removal

The tattoo made sense then. If it doesn't now, our Alma Harmony XL Pro laser breaks the ink down over a series of quick sessions — so your skin can move on too.

How It Works

A laser built to break ink apart

We use the Alma Harmony XL Pro, an FDA-cleared laser platform whose Q-switched pulses last billionths of a second — fast enough to shatter tattoo pigment into fragments small enough for your body to clear away naturally. Two wavelengths target different pigments: 1064 nm for dark inks like black and blue, 532 nm for reds and oranges. Each session breaks down more ink, so the tattoo fades progressively between visits.

Targets the Ink

Energy is absorbed by the pigment, not the surrounding skin

Two Wavelengths

Dark inks and warm colors each get the wavelength that breaks them down best

Progressive Fading

Each session visibly lightens the tattoo further

Assessed First

Every plan starts with an honest consultation on your ink

Your Journey

The Removal Process

Short sessions, spaced out — your body does most of the work between visits.

01

Free Consultation

We assess your tattoo — size, colors, depth, age — and give you a realistic session estimate and per-session price before you commit to anything.

02

Treatment

Quick laser pulses pass over the tattoo. Most sessions take well under 30 minutes.

03

Healing

The area heals over the following weeks while your body clears the shattered pigment.

04

Repeat & Fade

Sessions repeat every 6–8 weeks, each one fading the ink further toward your goal.

Two Ways to Use It

Full removal or fade for a cover-up

You don't have to take a tattoo to zero for removal to be worth it. Many clients fade their ink just enough for a clean cover-up — tell us your goal at the consultation and we plan around it.

Full Removal
Fade for Cover-Up
The goal
Clear the ink as completely as possible
Lighten the ink so new art can go over it
Sessions needed
More — dense, colorful, or layered ink takes time
Fewer — you stop once your artist has a workable canvas
Best for
Ink you want gone, especially visible placements
Ink you want replaced with better art
How it ends
Skin with little to no visible ink
A faded base your tattoo artist designs over

We use the Alma Harmony XL Pro, an FDA-cleared multi-treatment laser platform. For tattoo removal it delivers Q-switched pulses at two wavelengths — 1064 nm for dark inks like black and blue, and 532 nm for reds and oranges — selected for your specific tattoo at each session.

It varies widely — small, older, dark-ink tattoos may fade significantly in a handful of sessions, while large, colorful, or dense tattoos can take considerably more. At your free consultation we assess your specific tattoo and give you an honest estimate before you commit.

Most clients compare it to a hot rubber-band snap — sharper than getting the tattoo, but the sessions are much shorter. We take steps to keep you as comfortable as possible, and most treatments are over in minutes.

Honestly: not always. Dark inks respond best; some colors and very dense or layered ink can be harder to clear fully, and some tattoos fade dramatically rather than vanish. Many clients also use removal to lighten ink before a cover-up. We will tell you what is realistic for your tattoo at the consultation.

The 1064 nm wavelength we use for dark inks is the standard choice across a wide range of skin tones. Your skin tone does shape how we set up the treatment, which is one of the things we evaluate at your free consultation before recommending a plan.

Usually 6–8 weeks. Your body needs that time to clear the pigment fragments the laser breaks down — spacing sessions properly gets better results than rushing them.

It depends on the size and complexity of the tattoo and the number of sessions needed. The consultation is free, and you leave it with a per-session price and a session estimate for your specific tattoo — no surprises.

Yes — the same Harmony XL Pro platform powers our laser hair removal, ClearLift skin tightening and resurfacing, laser vein removal, and laser toenail-fungus treatment. Ask about any of them at your visit or find them on our booking page.
